Snow Park & Ice Rink Contractor in Malaysia | Turnkey Build

time :2026-10-16 author : scanning : classify :News

Malaysia is one of Southeast Asia's fastest-growing markets for indoor snow and ice attractions — and one of the hardest places to build them. Outdoor temperatures rarely fall below 25°C and indoor humidity sits above 75% for most of the year. A snow park here is a refrigeration and building-envelope project first, and a leisure project second.

Yangsheng (Beijing Yangsheng Ice & Snow Technology) designs, manufactures and installs complete indoor snow and ice facilities. We have delivered projects across Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and we work with developers, mall owners and operators who need a facility that performs on a hot, humid day — not only on the drawing board.

What we deliver

A turnkey scope, from concept to commissioning:

  • Feasibility and concept design, including load calculations for tropical ambient conditions

  • Refrigeration plant sized for continuous duty (chillers, evaporators, pipework)

  • Snowmaking or snow-drifting systems (real-snow or all-weather, depending on your business model)

  • Insulated envelope: panels, vapour barriers, airlocks and dehumidification

  • Ice rink systems: rink slab, cooling grid, resurfacer and dasher boards

  • Snow play and leisure equipment (slopes, sledding, kids' areas)

  • Installation, commissioning, staff training and after-sales support

Engineered for tropical conditions

Most snow-park failures in Southeast Asia are not refrigeration failures — they are envelope and humidity failures. We design for the real conditions in Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Penang and beyond:

  • Anti-condensation and vapour control to stop moisture migrating into the cold zone

  • Dehumidification integrated with the refrigeration load, so the plant is not fighting the climate twice

  • Energy-efficient plant selection to keep the operating cost predictable year-round

  • Materials and finishes chosen for high-humidity environments to limit corrosion and mould

The result is a facility that holds its ice and snow quality through the monsoon season, not just on opening day.

Project scope and indicative budget

Scope and cost depend on four variables: total cold-zone area, the business model (ice rink, snow play, or both), the snow system chosen, and the site's existing building services.

As a reference, a 1,000 m² indoor snow attraction in Malaysia typically falls in the RMB 3.4–3.7 million range for the cold-zone supply scope. Larger, fully themed snow parks with a regulation rink and multiple play zones are quoted individually. We prepare a line-item budget after a short technical call.

Working with us in Malaysia

  1. Technical call — your site, area, business model and target opening date

  2. Concept and budget — indicative scope, equipment list and investment range

  3. Detailed design — drawings, load calculations and a firm quotation

  4. Manufacturing and installation — our team, our equipment, on your schedule

We ship and support throughout Southeast Asia, and we can arrange local installation support for Malaysian sites.

Start with a feasibility check

Send us your site details — city, approximate area and what you want to operate — and we will come back with an honest first assessment and an indicative budget. No obligation.
